Just received my Kawai piano from Tommy. What a great experience. Visited on Monday, delivered on Thursday. I looked at a lot of places when thinking about where to go to find a piano. It was Tommy's website that persuaded me it was the right one. Tommy was very helpful pre-visit, advising on parking and so on. The visit itself was excellent. I was left to try as many pianos as I liked for as long as I wanted. I knew I wanted a Petrof or a Kawai (having played a Petrof for 14 years in my youth I knew how good they are). But the Kawai won the day (even if I'm still not confident on the pronunciation). I'm sure I would have been happy with any of the pianos in the store. They are clearly well chosen and worked on with care and expertise.

I went to the Little Piano Store as I was interested in one of their baby grand pianos, and finally fell in love with and decided to buy another one from a private seller. As I needed a retrofitted silent system, Tommy was very supportive in providing all the required information (even about logistics) and I chose to send my piano to him to fit the adsilent2. He fully regulated the piano prior to fit the equipment, and then tuned the piano and polished the brass parts. I have just received it, it’s amazing, sounds beautifully both acoustic and digital, and I am over the moon! Cannot be happier! Thank you Tommy, would give you one more star, if possible!

We have just purchased a beautiful piano from The Little Piano Store, and the whole family love it! For background, my family has never owned a piano but I’ve always wished I could play a musical instrument, and wanted my children to learn to read music and play. I decided a while ago that I’d really love to have a piano so we could learn together. I contacted The Little Piano Store and Tommy responded quickly and was really helpful. We arranged an appointment and I explained that I don’t really know much about pianos - he offered to play the pianos to demonstrate and help me compare the ones I liked. The showroom has a great range of pianos, ranging in age and price and size and looks. Tommy was happy to take time to talk through the pianos and play them, he was happy to share his expertise in a simple way so I could understand! In the end, I really fell for a piano that I wouldn’t have expected, and I absolutely love it, I kept going back to it in the showroom. Tommy added in a lovely piano stool to go with it, which he refurbished for it. The piano was delivered one week after purchase, no hassle, all delivery details were sorted by Tommy and a piano care guide was included. I’m really happy with the service from this store and plan to contact them again for tuning and maintenance. My family love the piano, we’ve all been practising, and I love that my 7 year old is able to practise at home and my 4 year old is getting an appreciation of music! Happy customer!

Tommy was amazing! From the moment we walked into the store, he was there to offer help and expert guidance within our budget. I wanted a white piano and he explained that I could order any of the pianos and he would paint it white. We tried out a number of pianos in the store and he talked through the process and showed examples of pianos he had painted. Best little piano shop ever! I've always had a piano in my life, but for the past 15 years, it was a digital piano, which as most know, there is no comparison. I decided it was time to get back to what I love the most, a beautiful upright. Tommy was so accommodating - he made arrangements to open up his shop for us for a Sunday viewing and was so incredibly patient as my son and I hammered the keys on pretty much every piano! As much as we wanted to take a baby grand home, we settled on the fantastic tones of the Kemble Oxford. I planned on keeping it on 'hold' for a bit but decided that we just couldn't live without this beautiful piece of furniture in the house any longer. I cheekily asked if there was any way it could be delivered on the Thursday (we'd only picked it out on the Sunday, paid for it on the Monday) - Tommy went out of his way to arrange a courier to deliver to us the Thursday night. Wow! Just above and beyond! You don't come across that personable level of service so much these days. You can see how much pride he takes in his business, just by how he looks after his customers. And a hat's off to the delivery drivers - total professionals and had the piano in it's position in no time at all, super friendly and fantastic guys. I got quite emotional over the whole thing, as having a proper piano back in my life again means the world to me. And the entire experience was all down to Tommy, and his Little Piano Store. Apologies this has taken me ages to post Tommy I've been recovering from long covid! For anyone that is looking for a piano, new/old/refurbed I can 100% recommend chatting to Tommy. I am only jealous that I live so far away from The Little Piano Store. I contacted The Little Piano Store having seen wonderful posts on Instagram that kept catching my eye. When I saw the rainbow coloured pianos; well that was it!!! I absolutely wanted one and didn't think for a second it would be possible as the shop is in England (I live in Wales). I spoke with Tommy as I was curious how I would go about this. Delivery to Wales was actually possible oh my gosh!!! Next the hard bit came - I have an older piano and was looking for honest advice re repairs and if it was worth revamping this or buying new. Tommy listened to my intentions and gave realistic and unbiased advice for restoration. The pros and cons etc. It helped inform what to do with my petite yacht piano. I was in a bit of a pickle as a reputable company had actually recently damaged my piano during transportation (our home was under renovation and it had to be moved to storage). I was gutted as you can imagine putting trust and money into this and it prompted me to consider what I want from my piano. Tommy gave me food for thought and I went off on my way and said I would be in touch as soon as my piano came back home. I left it at that and to keep checking the website for what would be on sale in the future. THREE WEEKS LATER... I get a surprise delivery to my door. The below/attached photos. This was an early wedding gift from my husband to be!!! My almost husband had been in contact with Tommy and had secretly arranged this. My husband to be isn't musically minded and I hugely appreciate the time that Tommy had taken to organise all of this at such a distance, with a budget, specifications etc. without any of my input. Tommy gave trustworthy advice of the best quality of pitch and feel of what he thought I would want myself. As someone who plays I was so apprehensive before I touched the new piano as it wasn't one I had picked myself let alone heard being played! It is truly lush and a joy to play. The tone is beautiful, overstrung nice and springy; it has also stayed within concert pitch. Tommy pays attention to detail, the felt lining is fab as are the closing bump protectors on the lid. I feel smug with 3 pedals and an adjustable stool to match. The delivery men (a separate firm due to distance) were also ace. Thanks so much to The Little Piano Store

Our Challen Baby Grand arrived just 2 hours ago from The Little Piano Store. We could not be more delighted, it is absolutely perfect. Reconditioned to such a high professional specification and detail which has enabled us to have a dream piano at such a reasonable price. Whatsmore the colour matches our scheme, a mahogany or walnut standard piano would have killed the room. Coloured pianos are so difficult to find but Tommy has plenty and is s accommodating. We bought this online without even seeing it but Tommy played it and recorded on YouTube for us to see and we were convinced. The Piano mover Stephan was also excellent and installed without any fuss or stress. Five Stars are not enough!!

I contacted The Little Piano Store for a specific piano, a baby grand Spencer. Quick response from Tommy the owner that he currently doesn’t have one in stock. However, the very next day he contacted me to say he has sourced one for me and he has ordered it in regardless of whether I wanted it or not. He sent me photos and information about the piano... age, condition etc and I fell in love with it! Tommy worked extremely hard restoring the piano and has done a brilliant job. He also painted it as requested and I even got to choose what Farrow & Ball coloured paint I wanted! The paintwork is fantastic too, professionally sprayed. All the keys have been replaced, brass polished and tuned. Tommy kept in regular contact with updates of the process and it has been a great experience! When it was finished I went to the shop to view the piano before delivery and I honestly couldn’t be happier, it’s like he has read my mind! It is exactly what I asked for, couldn’t fault anything at all! Tommy organised the delivery with a trusted courier who also safely transferred the piano into my home. This store sells accoustic pianos, ideally for beginners at affordable prices. I popped in to check out an instrument for one of my clients. There were a dozen or so pianos for sale, all of which would be suitable to get a new student started. Andy, who runs the place seemed like a nice guy. He was able to guide me 'round and give me the lowdown on all the instruments. I will certainly advise my pupils to visit when they're shopping for a piano.
